Paris Pride parade postponed to not stretch already overwhelmed emergency services

According to France 24, Paris is postponing its Pride parade this weekend. Police ordered organizers to reschedule the event to relieve pressure on emergency services already overwhelmed by a historic heatwave. The city has also cancelled a popular music festival and temporarily banned public alcohol consumption to ease the strain on hospitals and paramedics.
