AI push is putting banks at mercy of tech firms, warns Moody’s

business

Rating agency Moody's warns that banks racing to adopt AI are becoming increasingly dependent on a small group of Silicon Valley firms, leaving the financial sector vulnerable to widespread outages and price increases. While the sector will eventually benefit from lower costs and increased revenues, Moody's cautions that the transition will require substantial investment and introduce new risks.
