Artemis progress building lunar return roadmap

NASASpaceflight reports that NASA is systematically advancing the hardware and commercial partnerships needed to return astronauts to the Moon this decade. Four companies—Blue Origin, Firefly, Intuitive Machines, and Voyager—are each progressing through critical milestones: Blue Origin's Endurance lander completed environmental testing and targets launch in early twenty twenty-seven; Firefly's Blue Ghost is preparing for a far-side landing attempt; and Voyager's Griffin-One has concluded environmental qualification testing. For Artemis III, Orion's crew module has been mated with its European Service Module, while four RS-twenty-five engines are being prepared for installation into the core stage. To keep momentum, NASA is reusing more than two hundred fifty components from Artemis II across the next two missions—a strategy that frees newly manufactured parts for later flights and enables a faster production cadence.
