Nigerian army says it safely rescued 33 people kidnapped by gunmen

Thirty-three people kidnapped on Saturday while traveling through Nigeria's north-western Zamfara state have been safely rescued, BBC World reports. The group was taken by gunmen, and the military has confirmed their safe return.
