Don Nelson, the second-winningest head coach in NBA history, has died at age eighty-six, Euronews reports. Nelson was known for pioneering "Nellie ball," an unconventional small-ball style, and was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as a coach in twenty twelve. At the time of his induction, he held the record for most wins by a head coach in NBA history.
