Board of Peace envoy says Israel not required to withdraw from Gaza

world

The Board of Peace's senior envoy is reversing an earlier position: Israel won't have to withdraw from Gaza until Palestinian groups surrender their weapons, according to Nikolay Mladenov, speaking to Israel's Channel 12. On the skepticism embedded in these arrangements, he was direct: 'I'm not building any of this on the basis of trust.'
