According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, a twenty-year-old woman was struck and run over by a lifeguard vehicle Wednesday at Francis Beach in Half Moon Bay. She was hospitalized following the incident—an unfortunate mishap involving the person theoretically guarding lives.
