Per clinical psychologist Jenelle Nissley-Tsiopinis, children with ADHD often struggle with executive functions—managing time, completing homework, and planning ahead. These challenges can fuel conflicts with caregivers and harm high school and college placement, sometimes leading students to lose interest in school and confidence in themselves.
