According to The Register, Zuckerberg frames the central question as whether advanced AI remains concentrated among a few institutions or becomes accessible to the broader public. Meta plans to offer both free and paid versions of its AI tools to billions of people through a dynamic pricing model, The Register reports. But The Register points out a historical parallel: in 2019, Zuckerberg declared "The Future is Private" while Facebook was operating an advertising-driven business. The Register uses this past claim to question whether Meta's current commitments on privacy and access align with the company's actual track record.
