Australia's government is negotiating gambling reforms with the Coalition, according to The Guardian, to secure Senate passage. On Monday, Finance Minister Gallagher acknowledged the compromise doesn't meet everyone's hopes but said it's a strong response to a community problem. Chaney, however, has raised concerns about gambling industry influence, claiming that gambling lobby talking points are coming directly from the Prime Minister.
