Meduza reports on Chronofest, a theater festival in Yerevan that has become the primary venue for Russia's fractured arts community. After 2022, when many directors and actors emigrated and major Russian venues closed, longtime collaborators were left with almost nowhere to see each other's work. Chronofest reunites them: Russian artists from both sides of the divide share performances exploring memory and trauma, proving that despite geopolitical rupture, the theater world can still find common ground.
