Colombia quakes leaves more than 110 dead – as it happened

A powerful earthquake has struck Colombia, killing more than one hundred ten people. In Cali, one of the country's largest cities, more than two dozen structures collapsed and people remain trapped, according to mayor Alejandro Eder. The Guardian reports the city has asked authorities in Bogota and Medellin to send disaster teams to support rescue efforts.
