Colombia quake leaves more than 110 dead – as it happened

A powerful earthquake in Colombia has left more than one hundred ten people dead, The Guardian reports. In Cali, one of the country's largest cities, more than two dozen structures collapsed and people remain trapped, according to mayor Alejandro Eder. He said the city has asked authorities in Bogota and Medellin to send disaster teams to support rescue efforts.
