Per Variety, British actor, writer and director Calvin Demba — best known for the Netflix series Supercell — is directing his second short film, The Animals, starring George MacKay, Louisa Harland, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Eric Kofi Abrefa. The cast is drawn from actors appearing in Game of Thrones, Derry Girls, Sense and Sensibility, and other recent productions.
