Watch: India’s Russian oil imports hit 48% as U.S. readies 100% tariffs

Russia's share of India's crude oil imports hit an all-time high of forty-eight percent in June twenty twenty-six, per The Hindu, even as the United States moves closer to imposing tariffs of up to one hundred percent on countries buying Russian oil and gas. India imported eight point seven million metric tonnes of Russian crude that month. The UAE also recorded a historic seventeen point five percent share—together, Russia and the UAE accounted for nearly two-thirds of India's oil imports.
