Kennedy Center must pay $250,000 in legal fees to musician who canceled in protest

According to NPR, Chuck Redd canceled his annual Christmas Eve performance at the Kennedy Center to protest Trump's name being added to the complex. When the Kennedy Center sued him over the cancellation, a superior court judge dismissed the case in June — and now the venue must pay Redd two hundred fifty thousand dollars in legal fees.
