Russian drones found near vital European offshore gas site, get blown up

Romanian army divers destroyed two Russian-made drones drifting in the Black Sea near Neptun Deep, an offshore gas project, on Tuesday. According to Defense Minister Radu Miruță, the Gerbera-type drones were blown up using explosives after a Coast Guard ship spotted them in the water. Once complete, Neptun Deep will make Romania the European Union's largest gas producer. Romania consulted with Ukrainian partners, who confirmed the systems did not belong to them.
