SpaceX could make $500 billion in 2028, Elon Musk says

According to Space.com, SpaceX founder Elon Musk announced on Tuesday that his company is pivoting from rockets to artificial intelligence. Musk told employees that AI revenue will exceed all other SpaceX income within weeks—potentially reaching between three hundred billion and five hundred billion dollars annually by the end of twenty twenty-seven, if the company achieves its target of ten gigawatts of compute capacity. SpaceX acquired the AI startup xAI earlier this year, home to the chatbot Grok and the Colossus supercomputer. Musk says artificial intelligence will represent ninety-nine percent of SpaceX's total value within five years, with plans including AI satellites and eventually lunar data centers.
