Bondi shooting hero Ahmed al-Ahmed cleared of assault charges

The man who disarmed one of the gunmen in the Bondi Beach terror attack has had his assault charges dismissed, according to The Guardian. Ahmed al-Ahmed, 44, had been accused of putting his father in a headlock in March and intimidation over an alleged June incident, charges he'd consistently denied. The case against him has now been dropped.
