Pentagon admits to killing 153 civilians last year in Yemen: Report

The Pentagon has confirmed to Congress that US strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen killed one hundred fifty-three civilians and injured two hundred forty-three others last year, Middle East Eye reports, citing The Hill. A twelve-page report sent to the Senate Armed Services Committee detailed three incidents in April of last year, including an April sixth strike in Sanaa that killed five people and an April seventeenth strike on Ras Isa port that killed eighty. The Pentagon indicated fifteen more incidents remain under review.
