Pakistan's PTI, the country's leading opposition party, held a protest on Tuesday outside the Supreme Court over the health and pending legal cases of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan, per Dawn. Party representatives requested the court schedule early hearings on his cases and grant access for his family members and personal physicians. Following assurances from the court registrar that hearings would be fixed for next week, PTI called off the demonstration. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who participated in the protest, expressed concern over reports of Khan's health and called for his treatment under the supervision of his personal doctors.
