PTI protests outside Supreme Court over Imran’s health, pending cases

Pakistan's opposition PTI party held a protest outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday over the health and pending legal cases of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Dawn reports that after meeting with the court's registrar, the party was assured that cases would be heard next week. The PTI then called off the demonstration, but announced it would return to the streets Thursday to continue demanding what its leaders call 'true freedom' for Imran.
