More than 16,000 civilians detained by Russia in its invasion of Ukraine are still held, UN says

More than sixteen thousand Ukrainian civilians detained during Russia's invasion remain held, according to the UN. Euronews reports the UN also found that over ninety-five percent of Ukrainian prisoners of war and eighty-five percent of civilian detainees have faced torture or ill-treatment, often repeatedly.
