Trump says secret flight change at directives of Secret Service, plane ultimately used faced 'greater risk'

Per Dawn reporting, President Trump said on Tuesday that he secretly switched planes in Turkey last month following a NATO summit in Ankara. A catering truck was used to transfer him from Air Force One to a military aircraft in an extraordinary security operation prompted by an Iranian assassination threat. Trump acknowledged the plane he ultimately flew was actually more vulnerable than Air Force One, but said he was simply following Secret Service direction.
