Pioneer Generation Fund liabilities exceed balance by nearly S$785 million

A parliamentary committee report, per Channel NewsAsia, found that Singapore's Pioneer Generation Fund has a funding shortfall: liabilities exceed its balance by nearly seven hundred eighty-five million Singapore dollars. The government's ten billion Singapore dollar Future Energy Fund remains unspent and could support nuclear infrastructure if Singapore decides to deploy nuclear energy.
