Germany braces for record temperatures as heatwave moves east

world

A dangerous heat wave is sweeping across Western Europe. France, Britain, Switzerland, and Germany have all set June temperature records. Germany reached a new national high of forty-one point three degrees Celsius on Friday near Saarbruecken, close to the French border. According to France 24, the extreme conditions have coincided with dozens of deaths in France, and the weather system is moving eastward toward Poland, where it's expected to challenge records there as well.
