No Adiala visit without confirmation of meeting, says KP CM Afridi

politics

Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi says he won't return to Adiala jail before September twenty-seventh unless the government officially confirms a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan. According to Dawn, despite Islamabad High Court orders mandating party leader visits on Thursdays, those meetings haven't been allowed in months. Afridi warned that PTI workers would block roads on Thursday and vowed to lead a march toward Islamabad on September twenty-seventh, claiming it will draw two million supporters. He also called for closure of government offices, including the Prime Minister's, alleging systemic dysfunction.
