Beauty prepayment losses hit S$1.9m in first half of 2026, nearly 18 times higher than a year ago: CASE

The Consumers Association of Singapore reports a troubling surge in beauty industry complaints: more than eleven hundred filed in the first half of twenty twenty-six, more than double the five hundred fifty-eight from a year ago. Prepayment losses hit one point nine million Singapore dollars, nearly eighteen times higher than the same period in twenty twenty-five.
