Liverpool announce sale of stake in club to Jeff Bezos-backed consortium

Liverpool has announced a sale of a minority stake in the club to a Bezos-backed consortium that includes Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, according to France 24. Amit Bhatia, the former owner of Queens Park Rangers, is expected to become the club's vice-chairman as part of the arrangement.
