According to Boing Boing, Spanish doctors investigating chronic headaches suspected brain cancer after spotting multiple lesions on scans. A high-resolution MRI revealed the culprit was pork tapeworm larvae, not tumors. The parasitic infection, while unwelcome, is treatable and far preferable to the malignancy they'd feared.
