Rescue teams search for survivors in Indonesia after powerful earthquake

Rescue crews are digging through collapsed buildings and landslide debris on the Indonesian island of Flores, searching for survivors after a magnitude seven point seven earthquake. The Guardian reports the quake has killed at least forty-seven people and injured more than a hundred, with the toll concentrated in Manggarai and East Manggarai regencies and further deaths in Sikka, Ngada and Ende. Search teams are still working across six regencies, checking for people feared buried beneath landslides the quake triggered.
