Americans increasingly hate AI, but love chatting with it

According to a new Pew Research Center survey, almost half of American adults now use AI chatbots—but only sixteen percent believe the technology will have a positive impact on society. Most Americans expect AI to make things worse. It's a paradox that defines the moment: we're adopting the tools at breakneck speed even as we grow increasingly skeptical about where they're taking us.
