Morocco prevents new attempts to cross into Ceuta, army says

Moroccan security forces broke up an attempted mass crossing near Castillejos on Saturday, preventing hundreds of migrants from reaching the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, the army says. Euronews reports the operation comes weeks after a previous crossing attempt left one hundred forty-one people dead. Ceuta's land border with Morocco remains one of the European Union's few frontiers on the African continent.
