Iran executes man over involvement in winter protests

Iran has executed a man over his involvement in winter protests, The Hindu reports. Iranian authorities say more than three thousand people died in that unrest, blaming what they called terrorist acts by the United States and Israel, while rights groups based outside the country say security forces fired on protesters.
