According to France 24, a pair of powerful earthquakes in Venezuela has killed more than one thousand people, with hundreds still missing. In a rare bright spot, rescue teams pulled a nine-month-old baby and his mother from the rubble during the third day of search efforts. However, the window for finding more survivors is rapidly closing.
