Light as a Cosmic Time Machine

NASA Science has published an educational resource for middle and high school students exploring planets, stars, and galaxies through light travel time. Developed with PBS and astronomer Andrew Fraknoi, the article titled Light as a Cosmic Time Machine covers concepts including the electromagnetic spectrum, interstellar space, and solar science. Per NASA Science, the resource is designed as a foundational reading activity to help students understand how light from distant objects reveals the history of our universe.
