‘Pop Culture Jeopardy!’ champs knew they had film covered. TV? Not so much.

Harvard Gazette reports that two former Harvard classmates, Jack Goldfisher and Henry Johnson, won the second season of “Pop Culture Jeopardy!” on Netflix. The pair, who met in a film course, realized early on that neither had watched much television, so they leaned on their film knowledge and quick buzzer instincts. They prepped with online quizzes and flashcards, and their aggressive play paid off in the finals. After trailing by nearly thirty thousand points, they made a comeback with a risky Daily Double answer, ultimately winning by just six hundred points and taking home three hundred thousand dollars. The two baseball fans plan to use some of the winnings to attend a Cubs versus Mariners game together.
