‘The Violinist’ Won the Annecy Cristal – and Its Directors Say Southeast Asia’s Animation Deserves a Global Audience

According to Variety, 'The Violinist' has won the Cristal for best feature at the Annecy Animation Festival. The animated film comes from Singapore's Robot Playground Media, and co-director Ervin Han spent a decade bringing the project to life. With this award, directors Han and Raul Garcia are making a case for Southeast Asian animation to reach a wider global audience.
