MATS Winter 2027 Applications Are Now Open

per LessWrong, the MATS Winter 2027 fellowship is now open for applications to a twelve‑week, fully‑funded research program running from January nineteenth to April tenth, two thousand twenty‑seven. LessWrong reports that the program focuses on AI alignment, security and governance and provides mentorship from experts at Anthropic, Google DeepMind, OpenAI and other groups, a stipend of six thousand four hundred dollars per month, and a compute budget of up to eight thousand dollars per month for non‑technical tracks or up to sixteen thousand dollars per month for technical tracks, plus housing, meals and travel.
