Russian president Vladimir Putin admitted that Ukraine's strikes are causing fuel shortages in Russia. According to the Kremlin, Putin said the shortage is 'obvious' but not critical. Ukraine says these attacks are retaliation for Russia's sustained bombardment of Ukrainian civilians and energy infrastructure since the February twenty twenty-two invasion.
