Recipe Rescaler
dev_tools
Developer jefftk has added a recipe rescaler to his personal website. The tool automatically adjusts ingredient quantities when you scale a recipe up or down, handling measurement conversions—teaspoons to tablespoons to cups—plus fractions and numeric ranges. According to a LessWrong post, he built it with help from a language model, accelerating work that would have taken much longer otherwise. The rescaler displays scaled values in bold so you can easily spot ingredients it couldn't adjust, like complex recipe substitutions in parentheses.
