New Belarusian Assault Rifle Production Enabled By Iran, Sources Say

Radio Free Europe reports that Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko toured a weapons plant on August eighteenth, presenting an assault rifle described as fully produced within the country. According to Radio Free Europe, the demonstration highlighted a new rifle billed as a symbol of domestic defense capability. Radio Free Europe says Iranian involvement helped bring the weapon to production.
