Pioneering cancer treatment saves python named Jodie Foster: UK zoo

Phys.org reports that a British zoo announced on Friday it has successfully treated a cancer‑stricken reticulated python named Jodie Foster. The snake was the first reptile to receive a pioneering combination of surgery and electrochemotherapy, a technique that uses electric pulses to improve chemotherapy uptake. The zoo said the treatment was successful.
