‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ TV Series Sets Netflix’s ‘Shadow and Bone’ Creator Eric Heisserer as Co-Showrunner

Variety reports that Eric Heisserer has been tapped as co‑showrunner of Peacock’s upcoming live‑action “Dungeon Crawler Carl” series, joining writer Chris Yost. Heisserer most recently led the fantasy adaptation “Shadow and Bone” and previously penned the screenplays for Netflix’s “Bird Box” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival.” The new series adapts Matt Dinniman’s best‑selling novel and is slated for future release on Peacock.
