Watchdog investigating after ‘multiple’ people die in crash between police vehicle and car in Yorkshire

The police regulator has launched an investigation after a collision between a police vehicle and a car left multiple people dead. Per The Guardian, the crash occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning on the A66 near Middlesbrough. The Independent Office for Police Conduct says officers were pursuing the car before the collision took place.
