DR Congo receives Ebola vaccines in face of 'exponential' outbreak

France 24 reports that the Democratic Republic of Congo has received more than sixteen thousand doses of an Ebola vaccine as authorities step up their response to the ongoing outbreak. The same report says more than two thousand five hundred people have died, and World Health Organization officials warn this epidemic could surpass the deadliest on record, which caused over eleven thousand deaths across West Africa between twenty fourteen and twenty sixteen.
