Taylor Sheridan Accused of Stealing ‘Yellowstone’ From 2016 Pitch in Copyright Lawsuit

Per Variety, writer Lauren J. Salkin has sued Oscar‑winning creator Taylor Sheridan, accusing him of ripping off her 2016 pitch for the hit series Yellowstone. The complaint also names 101 Studios, Paramount and Elevate Entertainment as defendants, and the parties have yet to comment.
