Quoting Drew Breunig

Simon Willison's Weblog shares a comment from Drew Breunig, who reflects that before the arrival of the Fable model, it seemed unnecessary to spend much effort fine‑tuning coding harnesses because a new model could arrive at the same or lower price and solve most problems. When Fable finally launched, Breunig describes it as incredible, but notes its cost is high enough that existing models such as Opus, version 5.6, K3 and even GLM already meet the majority of their coding needs. As a result, his team began re‑evaluating which parts of the workflow should be assigned to which model.
