HTML table extractor

Web developer Simon Willison continues expanding his collection of paste-and-convert utilities with a new HTML table extractor. The tool takes tables copied from web pages and reformats them into HTML, Markdown, CSV, TSV, or JSON—handy for anyone who's ever needed to move data between formats without manually re-entering everything. Willison recently overhauled his related Rich text to markdown converter to handle tables better and polish the interface.
