Call for ExoExplorer Applications
science
NASA Science reports that NASA’s Exoplanet Exploration Program is now accepting applications for the ExoExplorers cohort, a six‑month program running from January to June twenty twenty‑seven. The initiative, aimed at advancing exoplanet research—the study of planets beyond our solar system—will select ten early‑career scientists, either PhD candidates or post‑docs within two years of their doctorate, to give thirty‑minute webinars, receive one thousand two hundred dollars for a presentation, and join bi‑weekly meetings with senior “ExoGuides.” Participants will also benefit from mentorship, professional‑development events, and collaborative activities shaped by the cohort’s interests. Applications are due Thursday, October fifteenth, twenty twenty‑six at six p.m. Pacific, submitted via a Google Form.
